Terms of service

Agreement and scope

By using the Rocky Reviews website or a hosted Rocky service, you agree to these terms. If you use Rocky for an organization, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the hosted service.

These terms apply to the website and hosted service. When you download or run the open source Rocky software, the license included with that software governs your rights to the software. These terms do not replace or change that license.

Accounts and repository access

You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure, maintaining accurate account information, and limiting integrations to repositories you are authorized to share. You must have permission from your organization to connect its GitHub account, repository, pull request, or code to Rocky.

You retain your rights to your code and other material. You give Rocky permission to process material you submit only as needed to provide, secure, and support the features you request, including creating review context and AI findings.

AI review and human decisions

Rocky may use AI to summarize changes, organize review context, and draft findings. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or irrelevant. It is not a security audit, legal advice, or a guarantee that code is safe or correct.

You and your team are responsible for checking findings, testing changes, deciding whether to merge code, and meeting your own security and compliance requirements. Review each AI finding before acting on it.

Plans, fees, and credits

Plan features and current prices are shown on the pricing page or at checkout. BYOK plan fees cover Rocky seats; your model provider bills you directly for its usage. Hosted managed AI uses prepaid credits, charged at the provider list cost plus 18% as described on the pricing page. Estimates are not guarantees of actual usage.

Taxes, billing intervals, payment timing, credit expiration, cancellation, and any refund terms will be shown in the applicable checkout or order terms where relevant. If those terms conflict with this page, the specific order terms control for that purchase, subject to applicable law.

Acceptable use

You may not use Rocky to break the law, access repositories without authorization, interfere with the service, probe or bypass security controls, or submit material that you do not have rights to use. You may not use the service to violate another person’s privacy, intellectual property, or security rights.

Third party services

Rocky can connect to services such as GitHub and AI model providers. Those services have their own terms, privacy practices, availability, and billing. Rocky does not control third party services, and your use of them is governed by your agreement with each provider.

Availability and warranty

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the hosted service. The website and hosted service are provided as available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rocky disclaims implied warranties such as merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement. Nothing in these terms removes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rocky is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for lost profits, data, or business opportunities arising from use of the website or hosted service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that applicable law does not allow to be limited.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the hosted service at any time. We may suspend or end access if needed to protect the service or its users, respond to a legal requirement, address a security risk, or respond to a material breach of these terms. Any rights or obligations that by their nature continue after termination will remain in effect.

Changes and contact

We may revise these terms as the service changes. The date above shows when they were last revised. Continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept them, to the extent permitted by law. Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@rockyreviews.dev.
